The following are all interviews I conducted on camera, behind the scenes, as well as on air hits for social coverage.

Nearly 700,000 LGBTQ Americans between 18 and 59 years old have undergone conversion therapy, the controversial practice of trying to change an individual’s sexual orientation, at some point in their lives, according to a report by the Williams Institute at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Garrard Conley was one of them, an ordeal he wrote about in “Boy Erased,” a memoir that has now been adapted into a feature film. Conley joined NBC OUT, NBC News and NBC News THINK to talk about his experience.
